วัดเจดีย์สี่ห้อง
วัดเจดีย์สี่ห้อง เป็นโบราณสถานทางตอนใต้ของอุทยานประวัติศาสตร์สุโขทัย คาดว่าสร้างราวพุทธศตวรรษที่ 20
โบราณสถานล้อมรอบด้วยคูน้ำ พระบาทสมเด็จพระมงกุฏเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ทรงสันนิษฐานว่า "วัดเจดีย์สี่ห้องที่อยู่ห่างจากวัดเชตุพนไปทางทิศตะวันออก 2 เส้น (80 เมตร) นั้น อาจเป็นวัดเดียวกัน เนื่องจากตั้งอยู่ใกล้กันและวัดเชตุพนไม่ปรากฏซากวิหารหรืออุโบสถ และวัดเจดีย์สี่ห้องอาจเป็นวัดที่สร้างขึ้นภายหลังวัดเชตุพนที่หมดความสำคัญลงแล้ว"
ศักดิ์ชัย สายสิงห์ ให้ข้อคิดเห็นว่า "วัดเจดีย์สี่ห้องเป็นคนละวัดกับวัดเชตุพนที่อยู่ติดกัน เนื่องจากทั้งวัดเชตุพนและวัดเจดีย์สี่ห้องต่างก็มีคูน้ำล้อมรอบ ซึ่งเป็นลักษณะหนึ่งของวัดสมัยสุโขทัยที่จะมีคูน้ำล้อมรอบเป็นขอบเขต ส่วนอุโบสถที่ตั้งยู่ทางทิศตะวันออกนั้นมีคูน้ำล้อมรอบต่างหาก อาจเป็นอุโบสถที่ใช้ร่วมกันระหว่างวัดเชตุพนกับวัดเจดีย์สี่ห้อง หรืออาจเป็นอุโบสถของวัดอื่นอีกวัดหนึ่งก็ได้ เพราะบริเวณรอบอุโบสถหลังนี้ถูกรบกวนโดยการปรับหน้าดินจากการทำเกษตรกรรมแล้ว" :43-44
เจดีย์
เจดีย์ประธาน เป็นทรงระฆังกลมส่วนยอดของเจดีย์ได้พังทลายลง คงปรากฏส่วนปล้องไฉนตกอยู่ที่ฐานเจดีย์
ฐานเจดีย์ประธานมีภาพปูนปั้นประดับอยู่โดยรอบ ปั้นเป็นรูปบุคคล รูปบุรุษและสตรี สวมอาภรณ์และเครื่องประดับต่าง ๆ กัน ในมือถือภาชนะมีพันธุ์พฤกษางอกโผล่พ้นออกมาแสดงถึงความเจริญงอกงามและความอุดมสมบูรณ์ ภาชนะนี้เรียกว่า หม้อปูรณฆฏะ :28
รูปบุคคลที่กล่าวถึงนี้หากพิจารณาบริเวณศีรษะจะสังเกตเห็นร่องรอยนาคหลายเศียรแผ่พังพานอยู่ด้านหลัง จึงแปลความหมายได้ว่า คือ มนุษยนาค ซึ่งถือว่าเป็นเทพอยู่ในโลกบาดาลตามแบบอย่างคติที่นิยมในลังกา นอกจากนี้ ยังมีปูนปั้นรูปช้างและสิงห์ประดับอยู่ด้วย[4] และมีพบที่สุทัยชัดเจนเพียงแห่งเดียว การประดับมนุษยนาคสลับกับการสิงห์ขี่ช้างแสดงให้เห็นถึงรูปแบบและคติการสร้างที่เป็นแบบพื้นบ้านแล้ว ดังนั้นวัดนี้จึงน่าจะอยู่ในสมัยสุโขทัยตอนปลาย
